Donna Leslie Thomson

Donna Leslie Thomson is a meditation teacher and a therapist. The material in The Vibrant Life has evolved from her three-plus decades of meditation study and practice. For fifteen years, she was a student at the Zen Meditation Center in Rochester, New York, under the direct guidance of Roshi Philip Kapleau, author of The Three Pillars of Zen.
Thomson has a Masters in Social Work and nineteen years of experience in therapeutic work. She teaches the workshops Awareness Meditation and Meditation with the Divine Feminine. She has taught meditation and counseled people in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and the U.S.
She has written several other books, as well as a chapter for The Complete Guide to Buddhist America (edited by Don Morreale and published by Shambhala in 1998). The Vibrant Life has been translated into German.
